First they let Mike takes games off, and I said nothing.
Then they let Mike stay in his cage permanently, and I said nothing.
Then they said there would be no Mike, and I said nothing.
Then they said there would be no football team, and I said nothing.
Then they said Tiger Stadium would feature feminist dance therapy, and I said nothing.
Then they cut my balls off, and no man was left to speak for me.

LSU’s tepid history of academic fundraising is one reason its endowment pales next to those of its SEC peers. The LSU Foundation has an endowment of $382 million, or $14,100 per student. The SEC median is an endowment of $27,200 per student.
Sounds like LSU needs to revamp its alumni relations department.

I'm an Auburn fan and still say no and give u a downvote, Mike is a great tradition for the LSU program, not being in the stadium anymore sucks but his habitat is awesome and not many tigers will live a life as easy as the next Mike

Are you really comparing how LSU handles it's tiger compared to how circuses handle their elephants?
Really?
Really?

not that I want them soliciting from me, but I haven't ever been contacted by LSU since graduating in '91. It ain't hard to find someone on Google.

I get monthly emails from a very wealthy private university that I transferred out of begging me for money. LSU needs to step up their "We po'! HALP!" game.

What is different about him being in a habitat vs a zoo?
Zoo's charge admittance fees. That's it.

Dude, shut the frick up and get out of here with this shite. I understand not bring Mike to the games. Seriously, looking back at it, it was probably never the best of ideas, but we adopt a tiger that was taken out of a bad situation and provide him a home that is somewhat similar to what his/her natural habitat would be.
Also, it allows the vet school to have hands on experience with a wild exotic animal and it is something people go to campus just to see. I do not see nothing at all wrong with this situation. If we didn't get a new tiger, the tiger we could have had would just live out the rest of his/her life with other tigers and since it cost to feed more tigers, it might not receive as good of a diet as it does here. If they put these tigers in their natural habitat, they would be dead in days.. So don't start this shite.

I always thought it was cool as hell. As long as he's taken care of, leave Mike alone.
It's one of the many things that make CFB as great as it is.
The War Eagle,Mike,Ralphie,Sooner Wagon,etc.
