I really wanted Cody in the mitb match. Win. Hold the brief case until cenas retirement match. Let Cena win then cash in to take it back on the way out.

Yeah but nobody wants to see that tag match. Should have ended without that announcement. And really it makes no sense that cena's give a damn character is hanging around to interfere in this match. But logic be damned

I think heels are better with the case in general. Honeslty logan paul would be a decent candidate letting him show it off on youtube and all that. The MITB has been disappointing since rollins

Agree, a Cody MITB win then cash in would make sense. Have Cena use interference to win the match, then Cody destroys the interference, cashes in and wins clean.

This has really become a drag. The match just goes until the approved narrative says that it should end; finishers used to take all the build up and if someone kicked out of one it was usually in service of a newer guy getting over on a legend or some big plot twist in the larger arc. Now everyone kicks out of finishers constantly.

Late catch in up, but I totally disagree on Cena interfering and teaming with Paul doesn’t make sense.
He wants to ruin wrestling, getting the other title on a “youtuber” does that. Also, Cena could use some heel run, Logan is a hated heel that can do that. Cena has been acting like a heel but has yet to really be a heel. This could work to change that. Also, imo, he should have destroyed Truth after match to really be a heel
