It will be at least 100$... and it will be negative 99% of the time. I had 19 exposures in one day and didn’t get tested so just wait it out.

This is true.
I went for one in Boise the other day and the lady laughed at me and said "Maybe if you was from da berry."

Likely not show anything unless you have symptoms

Wait probably 5 days from exposure or when you get a symptom to go get tested.
I’d still get tested even if asymptomatic. We’ll have short term panic from the case counts, but longer term it’ll be best to drive the %fatal and %hopsitalization down - so we need the denominator to skyrocket.

For the benefit of people that have no idea what they are talking about...
Anyone who says they have a 15 rapid test is almost certainly using an antibody type test, which has about a 40% false positive rate. The accurate lab test is a PCR type lab test. The rapid PCR (takes about 45 minutes to run) is very hard to obtain. All of these tests are being allocated to hospitals... we only get about 60 per week if we are lucky.
Otherwise, most PCR tests go to Labcorp or Quest, which are running 4 day turnaround if you are lucky.
Other labs are beginning to pop up.

Thanks. I looked on internet and seemed the quick test types were really anti-body test in Alexandria area. I didnt know if there were any 45 minute test given in the area. Ive been tested by hospital for pre-op and got the results the next day. But that was done at a hospital. Thanks for the information.

Is this the antibody test?

Why, after all the stupidity we see on the news every day, would you assume that most people are this analytical?

quote:nope. There is zero reason for a healthy asymptomatic person to just go out on their own and get tested regardless of who they’ve been exposed to
