I know others exist, but what in the hell did White people do somewhere in the history to cause such a massive amount of people with down syndrome. I'm willing to say at least 9 out of every 10 people with down syndrome is white. From a scientific standpoint, what is the cause/reason of down syndrome? My wife has a cousin who has DS. She's one of the sweetest, most caring people you will ever meet (as most individuals with DS are). Is there anything we can do as humans to move away from DS? I know it's not curable, but is it preventable?

This.

White women work. They wait until their late 30s and boom. Problems.

Knowing this true to be true, and if your prior statement of white women working and then waiting until their late thirties to procreate, why wouldn't a woman who plans to conceive later in life have her eggs frozen to use later in life?

Is this too logical?

You are ignorant.

The cause of Down syndrome is unknown.

•In a process called non-disjunction, the two copies of chromosome 21 fail to separate during formation of the egg, resulting in an egg with two copies of the chromosome. When this egg is fertilized, the resulting baby ends up with three copies of chromosome 21 in each of its cells. The cause of this non-disjunction remains unknown.

You are ignorant. They don't know the cause, so how can they justly sit there and say it has nothing to do with any of that? Let's use our heads here.

I always thought that at one point in time, the entire world was down syndrome, and that humans now are the step up from that. Down's is maybe a misclassification.

Think about how peaceful a world would be if everyone had downs...just another animal walking around with the other animals doing meaningless shite

Down Syndrome is caused by a baby getting 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of 2. This cause is biologic and there is nothing that anyone did to cause Down Syndrome it is just a genetic f**k up. There is very little we can do to prevent it. If you are wanting to find out if you can prevent try google and not the OT.

Your shower thought is why the shower just like the OT is a place for NSFW thoughts only.
