A big hail storm blew in one day when we were at a Ranger game. My car only had one dent in the hood. It popped out by itself that same summer. Some people's cars got beaten up pretty bad.

Random DFW Hail Event
My old job had a parking garage, never had to worry. Been thinking about upgrading my car, but my new job is out in the open, no garage or any place to really cover it even if I knew it was coming. It's making me rethink the upgrade until the next job rolls around.

Yeah no Met even mentioned severe weather in their forecast and as 60mph + winds were blowing through North Dallas, plus a creek above flood stage, + widespread hail, nobody came on TV either. I guess it was too late to warn folks by then lol.
