Here is Scruffy's opinion of random acts of kindness.

Keep the fact that you did something to yourself.

When you go in Facebook or TD or wherever and brag about it, it is no longer an action done out of generosity for someone else.

It is then a self-congratulatory masturbation session.

That's nice that you did something, but keep it to yourself.

I typically pull into a fast food joint (sonic, Burger King, etc) in the month of December and give a $100 in a card to whomever serves me. I generally do not order any of the crap food but will order a drink/shake. Of course if the employee doesn't greet me and seem courteous I pass it on to the next eligible recipient who might be more deserving. I'll make several stops to different places as I know the employees do not make that much.

Edit: I might stop if they start getting paid $15 an hour.

the OT is so full of shite.

they say they don't want a poster to talk about the reward that come with giving. It only counts if someone else mention it.

But when that happens the OT makes fun of the generosity.
