I'm really surprised that KFC is the only fried chicken chain in China. The Colonel makes so much money from that country, and they love that stuff. A KFC on every corner in Beijing and Shanghai. You'd think Popeyes, Zaxby's, Canes, or Chick-Fil-A would try over there before going to the Middle East, although I'm sure the Chinese would be confused on why Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays.

Not everyone knows about Bush's chicken, but I used to eat there quite a bit when I lived in Harker Heights.

Thank God someone else knows about it. I grew up right outside of Waco in China Spring and that was the only fast food place we had until we got a McDonald's my senior year. When I was at Baylor they even gave discounts to students. Best chicken on the face of the planet.

KFC and Coors Light are the two single weirdest vestiges of US "culture" found commonly around the world.

Whodathunkit for either of them?

I love their chicken, but the sides are pretty meh. I'm not big on bread or coleslaw and the fries are far from life-altering. The one close to where I work is the best though. The chicken is always deliciously crispy.

Trini KFC better than any other KFC I've had.

The KFC in Independence Square is one of the busiest in the world.

Same situation here in Indonesia. KFCs everywhere. Never realized how much Asians like fried chicken until I moved here. I think Cane's would make a killing in this part of the world.
