Dipped for 12 years playing ball. Quit 3 years ago and still have days where I want a dip.
It's not easy. I ate seeds so much it was tearing my mouth up worse than the tobacco. Try toothpicks, straws, gum, something to keep you occupied.
Go see a dentist, he'll scare you into quiting. That was the only thing that worked for me.
Good luck

Grinds coffee pouches.

Helped me get over the physical craving of needing a dip.

Good luck. You can do anything you put your mind to.

Best of luck.

My best bud is in the process of quitting dipping after 30+ years.

He went with a program that sent him nicotine patches, decreasing by half after 2 weeks.

He was doing good until he went from 14 mg to 7 mg.Said he really had a problem then.

He called and they raised him back to 14 mg.

I can see that it's not a simple thing to do.

So,best of luck to you.

Just quit. Put it down and don't buy another can. It's really that simple.

I've seen people suck the shite out of a peppermint or use the "Grindz" coffee pouches. They say they like the physical sensation.

I tried using Smokey Mountain....problem is that stuff is hard to come by. I'd run out, not be able to get any close and then cave and buy a can of dip.

Cold turkey is probably the way to go and just stay REALLY busy. Hardest time is when you have nothing going on and it gets on your mind.

The fact that people still smoke cigarettes or dip is baffling.

Or speed, or drive drunk, or play football, or eat fast food, or drink coke, or shovel sugar into their face, or work in chemical plants, or do drugs, or gamble, or drink alcohol... see where im going with this..
