Questions on Central Private School

We're fairly new to the area and need some info regarding Central Private.
My daughter, for a variety of reasons, typically does much better in a private school setting compared to a public school setting. We have found that even with the best of public school districts, the sheer size of the school (even if the class size is reasonable) is enough to make her extremely uncomfortable to the point of intolerable. It is something we have tried to work through with outside counseling, etc with really no progress.
I know Central Private holds some less than desirable reputation in its early days. I'm not so interested in this. I am more focused on today. What is the current state of Central Private - the politics within the school, the interaction between teachers and students, teachers and parents, administration and teachers, administration and parents, etc. How are the academics compared to other relative private and even public schools?
Another consideration that we have is that my daughter has a very rare medical condition. In our experience, even though public schools are legally required to provide accommodations for our daughter (which by the way are not all that involved), the private schools seem much easier to deal with. So this is another reason we are looking into Central Private.
So any insight anyone can give about the school will be helpful. We're also aware that rumors have been around for years that the school may close and isn't viable long term. I'm not sure if that's just talk or real. If we start her there, we'd like to be there long term.
Thanks.

We had a football game with them get called in the 3rd quarter because there was a brawl and everyone got thrown out. Good times.

We plan on sending our youngest boy there for pre k3 and 4, but past that Central schools are a better option. If you are looking to take the private school route I would think Baton Rouge offers better options.

Your daughter will love it. Every time it drizzles school gets canceled.

What are your plans on putting her through college?
If she can't handle a normal high school setting because of the size, she will freak in college. It would be better to get her past that now instead of when it costs thousands of dollars

So you're too racist to send your kids to a school that's 90% white? I bet you're a real pillar or society.

90% white? Apparently you're not part of the white flight out of Central. They're invading Ascension and Livingston.

There are plenty of small colleges with small class sizes all over this country.
I don't know about Central Private except a cousin went there in the 80's and loved it and he is a very successful attorney in BR today. So if nothing else it's been around a long time.
There are other options though. Runnell's, Episcopal few others.

Smaller than a small town public school like central? I never had more than 25 kids in a non PE class during my time there.
That's no way to go through college either way. That bandaid is gonna have to be ripped off eventually, the sooner the better.

My second grader has 2 in her class (not that it matters except to a racist like you). My neighborhood is 1 black family for every 15 white families at least. You must be that guy with the rebel flag hanging on the porch of his single wide.

Why the name calling and sensitivity? You must be bred and born in that shithole.

In the first place, students with disabilities, whose parents (rather than a public agency) enroll them in a private school are not individually entitled to services they would have if they were enrolled in a traditional public school.
Secondly, if it is determined that a parentally placed child qualifies for services provided under a service plan, the student must be provided with transportation from the school/home to a location other than the private school; and from the service location to the private school, or to the child’s home, depending on when the services are provided during the school day.
Yeah, private schools ship special needs services elsewhere but if, to you, that's "much easier to deal with" then knock yourself out. This in one area that private schools can't touch public schools- assuming you have a quality teacher.

Central Private was a great school when I went. The education was far ahead of public school, the students were very friendly and it was an easy going atmosphere.
Good times.

Not born there, no hospital that I know of. I moved from your neck of the woods to get away from all the white devils.
