Graduated there in mid 2000s. Prepared me and my friends for college extremely well. Between us there are a doctor, four engineers, a lawyer, multiple MBAs.

School has gone downhill a bit I've heard. Elementary school is still top notch for the area though.

This guy gets it.

I also graduated from there in the mid-2000's. It was a great school then. And despite what someone mentioned in this thread, many if not most of the high school teachers were certified.

Leaving CP I was prepared for college and college was fairly easy for me. Of course that was a decade ago and I know very little about the school nowadays. Except the high school guidance counselor is amazing and Ive heard rumors there hasn't been a linebacker come thru CP more dominant than the poster Sun God since

I graduated from CPS in the early 90's. I scored a 31 on the ACT on my first attempt. CPS provided me and my two siblings with a great education.

You'll be better off checking out smaller private schools in BR like Runnels, Dunham, U High or Episcopal. All these schools have good track records and classes are not overwhelmingly big. I can also see these schools being more tentative to your daughters needs.

Be prepared to pay a substantial amount more for the above mentioned schools.

No first hand experience, but know several people that went there.

They keep the darkies out, their academics are high school equivalent, they are going to struggle even more now that Central School district is viable.

If you aren't worried about the best education possible, but her being comfortable it is a good option.

Not sure she will be prepared scholastically for colleges that offer small classroom sizes, but I admit I don't know all colleges that offer that.
