Everything she says is in line with what we already know.

It is truly amazing that so many people think Joe Rogan is the bastion of journalistic integrity.
I know Rogan isn't the stereotypical journalist. Between working as a color analyst for UFC and him being a comedian (and maybe a few other things), people don't take him as serious, but he doesn't pretend to know more than he does.
Before he has a guest on his show, the night before he usually has dinner with them and I know on one episodes he mentioned how he had Andrew Shultz go to a place to watch the guest before Rogan arrived just to see if there was anything off or that could have lead to any discrepancies in their story.. And the guy was like "I saw him last night before you showed up" and he started laughing and said that they are friends and sometimes he will ask him to go keep an eye on potential guest.
So he doesn't allow just anyone on his show.
On top of that, the reason his podcast are so long is because he thinks that having a timed interview or gathering just enough information to write an article that has to be a certain length doesn't really give you the true story.
While I rarely truly listen to a whole episode, you do get to understand people better when they are in a relaxed interview setting and don't have to be rushed and can only hit on a few talking points.
