I tried Cox and went back to ATT which was much better. In Central.

Too many irrelevant channels that are never viewed. Still pay for them.

Can't comment on AT&T TV, but the internet is so much better then Cox where I live in Denham.

We take a Roku stick when we travel, and when we log in on YouTube TV, the locals for the destination area are listed. It’s nice to be able to watch the local weather and news.

Yours probably got turned off and then reset itself to location default somewhere along the way.

My inlaws have had the same issue. It will just randomly switch from New Orleans locals to Gulfport area locals. Do you have a cellular based internet service like a Verizon 5g cube for your home internet service? If so, the internet service seems to have been the cause of theirs switching. I just rebooted their wifi cube, and it switched the location service back to the New Orleans location on YTTV.

So many better cheaper options out there now. I recommend doing a little research and moving on from youtubetv.

Yes, the price is too high, but the redeeming factor is that you can share it as long as you are in the same market. I’ve had my FIL and a couple of buddies on my account for years now.

Anyone with YouTube TV ever have this happen?

Subtle I'm not poor brag...

I'm too poor for Youtube TV.

I switched here in Houston to save money over cable. Xfinity was getting ridiculous. I have switched from cable to satellite to cable to streaming over the years to save money.

Yes, and lately, there has been some contract disputes and scares of dropping certain stations like Fox and USA.
One of the main reasons I dropped U-Verse, besides price, was they kept dropping stations.

Have YoubeTV. I miss the pause/slow motion type control during sports. They need to step up their capabilities.

Here's a little trick I use.

I live in the DFW market. I set up my account in Shreveport where my Mom is. I have YouTubeTV on her TV's there. As far as YouTubeTV is concerned, that's my home market. My mom, age 90, is there and I visit my Mom at least once a quarter, so it's nice to be able to go there and have the channels I want to watch.

Near the end of 90 days of not being in Shreveport, YouTubeTV will drop me a message asking if this is my home market or if I'm visiting. I just put visiting, but it's also a good reminder to go spend some time with my Mom. I'm blessed to have family near her that take great care of her and I know it's nice to them to come over and give them a break.

As soon as my mobile phone hits her wifi in Shreveport, those messages that pop up on my TV in DFW stop. When I leave and drive back, as long as I don't use it on my phone, it doesn't seem to catch it. I've gone as long as six months and not get the message pop up on my TV, but as soon as I open the YTTV app on my phone, it will ask, and that begins the countdown clock for 90 days.

*also, side benefit: my Mom no longer needs to be paying for TV. She was using DirecTV at something like $160 a month.
