I am uploading a picture. Wondering if I can get an opinion. Vet says it is a fungal/bacterial skin infection. But this lump looks worse to me. I'm not used to pictures. Sorry
Thanks for any input.

You realize there's no picture, right?

Without picture I can just say that a person who went to school 8+ years and has seen ten thousand animals with skin problems since then probably has a decent idea what’s going on, subject to occasional human error.

What am I looking at there? Is that an eyeball?

Fungal/bacterial meaning both fungal and bacterial or one or the other and didn’t do a skin scrape or you declined the scrape or?

They didn't do a skin scrape. She just diagnosed it as fungal bacterial and gave some shampoo and anti biotic pills. That "scab" happened really quickly though, no more than a few days before it was just a dark spot. Now other black spots appear to be swelling too. It's like it swells then ruptures and leaks. Dog is 15.
Probably time to put down but it's my moms dog, not mine.

Could be a migrating worm. They’re going around.
