The Hetfield one is one of my favorites. His ones with Maynard James Keenan are really good as well. Keenan is much more open than I’ve ever heard him bee’ before.

Anyway, to the OP; I love his podcasts, but idk if I’d go see him do stand up. Tickets would have to be cheap and the venue would have to be very close.

Joe Rogan podcast

I want to invent a drinking game where you take a shot anytime he says "as a human being", "how crazy is it", or "insane" over the course of any given podcast

His podcast format is definitely his strong suit.

His three hour long interviews annoy the shite outta me.

I saw Rogan do standup about 9 years ago I think he was doing podcast but they weren't anywhere near as popular as they became and I wasn't really aware of them. His standup is good not prime Eddie Murphy but good.

I don't think anyone has hit that level. Maybe a few.

Like others, I prefer his podcast to his comedy. Although he is 3rd in line when talking my favorite comedy podcasts. He just does so damn many and are so long. I find myself skipping over several and just listening to the ones I have interest in.

Over him is Joey Diaz podcast.

At the top is Ari Shaffir but he doesn't put that many out. Really enjoy is one-on-one conversations with interesting people.

Don't really care for podcasts that try and have more than one guest though. People talking over eachother isn't easy listening.

I like his stand up ok. His best bits are when he is retelling random factoids that he has learned with a comedic spin. He has a bit about tigers which is extremely funny.
