I understand the button that says "list prices LOW to HIGH"

But why is there a button that says "HIGH TO LOW"

People prefer paying a lot for stuff?

To avoid scroll through pages of cheap Chinese garbage and accessories. Or someone prior want to see what brands of an item type are the high end, to help with research.

Depends on the product, but sometimes I do. Often I do it on eBay because if I search for something generic to see what type of offers there are, pricing high to low weeds out the BS chinese things that are 0.99

On another note... your common sense couldn’t figure this out?

Say I'm looking for a car.
I type in 1967 mustang.

I get thousands of hits, mostly parts, if I did high to low I get the cars first.

I use that example because that's the only time I use that feature.
