Well, she was never married to a king. So the statement doesn't hold true for this situation.

Everyone seems to think that is doubtful.

Never know though.

If Charles takes the throne and dies, his wife won't be known as "Queen mother" because Diana was William's mother right?

This is confusing.

I'm pretty sure he knows that and is throwing out a hypothetical situation. Say once Charles is King, Camilla will be queen. I think he's asking that if Charles passes before Camilla, does she stop being queen at that point?

That is what the scenario was.

I don't think she can ever be a queen. I thought they ruled that out.

Charles's wife?

I don't think she can be queen. No clue what they'll call her.

When they were married, it was announced that she would use Princess Consort when Charles takes the throne. I think there's some speculation that he could intend to have her called Queen. That all said, it doesn't change the line of succession and because William is of age she would not be Queen in the sense that Queen Elizabeth is as the actual ruling monarch. Queen Elizabeth became Queen because she was the oldest heir to the throne and she had no brothers.

At least that's how I understand it.
