I was in St. Maarten about a month ago and it was pretty cool to see the jets land & take-off from this beach.
Funnily enough I also live pretty close to HSB resort. Apparently the Jaafe's own a jet business in HSB and this was likely just a fly-by stunt so they could see their jet before it went to another airport for actual refurb/cargo work.
