Q for the weather experts here re: why not a tornado watch in area with multiple TWs?

There are five active tornado warnings in the area NW of Ft. Worth. At least one is a confirmed tornado on the ground. But, the area is under a severe thunderstorm watch. Why would they not change that to a tornado watch once the tornadoes start to drop?
Edit: Here are the warnings:

Because a tornado warning is your warning that there is a tornado on the ground or a funnel cloud has formed. A watch is simply that there is a chance of a tornado.

A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes. If you have five tornado warnings within a severe tstorm watch, conditions must be damn favorable for development.

The best part is the spotter confirmed tornado is six miles west of Loco, Texas.

Some of my coworkers are at the Rangers game. Wouldn't mind if they got sucked up into the funnel cloud but something tells me the tornado won't have enough lift.

We’ve had to cancel work the last two days in Dallas because of these forecasts and Jack shite has happened.
I’m about to beat some weather baw’s arse.

DFW gets really weird weather

Not even .25” of rain since Monday. That line yesterday did have a good bit of rotation.

It really depends on the NWS office in terms of what gets issued at the end of the day.

A warning trumps a watch. If there is a watch, it means keep an eye on the weather because tornadoes are possible maybe even likely. If the watch changes to a warning, then a tornado or funnel cloud has been spotted.

We have had a TON of rain. It's flooded in a few areas around me but it's more miss than hit lately. That storm last week where the cap went away was the first time my company closed up shop early. I guess that had more potential than Mayfest the year they had the softball size hail or bigger.
