You can't really believe cops pull people over because or race or ethnicity alone, can you? Of course you can.

No, but anyone with a brain has to be worried seeing them become more and more militarized. The "us vs. them" culture doesn't help things either.

Here's the kicker: even if (you reasonably can assume) that was their reason for pulling you over, it. is. RIDICULOUSLY. EASY. to. avoid. confrontation.
A pleasant "hi, how's it going?" A genuine smile. Small talk. Have your documentation easily accessible. Be cooperative.
These are not difficult measures to take.

It's even easier than that. Don't drive like a dumb frick and you won't even be pulled over.

Not necessarily...I've been pulled over b/c my "license plate light was 'too dim', which turned into a full search. Of course, I was younger and they were just trolling and profiling for petty cannabis busts. most officers are doing their jobs, but mannnn..when you cross one of those bad apples, watch out
