by far the trashiest group of Hispanics. I'm up here in the northeast and PR hoods look no different than the ghetto hoods we have down south. Litter everywhere. I've been the East L.A., eastern Houston and other Mexican barrios and they're nowhere near as ugly looking as these PR hoods up north.

When I was on NYC one time everybody was complaining about them. It was PR day parade going on. I was with a very mixed group of people just no Puerto Ricans but it was evident that no one likes them. I'm typically one to hold judgement but they have a pretty bad rep for being trashy. Had Auburn fan and Alabama fans both agreeing on the matter too.

They are thought of as the bottom end of Hispanic culture. Every race seems to have a tier of top to bottom, whether it be Caucasian, Asian, whatever. Not saying everyone from PR is trashy, that's not the point; it's how their culture/country is compared to others. One thing I find perplexing is why so many hispanic actors/actresses are from PR? I think other Hispanics are not represented as much as they should, especially from Mexico. If you recall the 'Selena' movie, a lot of the Mexican Community was upset with Jennifer Lopez (pre J-Lo) was selected for the part, which is understandable on their part. You telling me they couldn't find a Mexican girl??
