How dumb are you???? really.........

Tell me PJ. Why would you want to friend your teacher? I know times have changed since I was in HS, but why would I want any type of relationship with my teacher outside of school (unless she was hot)?

Idk, I wasn't. But you're naive if you think it doesn't happen all the time.

I know it happens. At the same time, I know a lot of teachers do what you mentioned, will not friend students until after they graduate.

But PJ is about to inform us on why teachers and students should friend each other.. Since he seems to know all..

Just once, I'd like someone in a position of power not to cower to cries of injustice and have some semblance of a backbone and common sense.

That kid deserved to be called out for his horrible spelling and if his parents' don't think so, they should have just locked him up in the basement his whole life because once he gets into the private sector his arse will be handed to him every day, for every mistake he makes.

Damn, can the kid not really handle that? I guess I must've been among the last generations to receive "tough love" growing up. My family would laugh at me for saying a word wrong.

I became FB friends with a few teachers after I graduated. Hell a few showed up at parties when I was still in HS. Drank a beer or two and left. Nobody said anything to get them in trouble, they got more respect at school, life went on.

I used to drink all night in BR and drive to Nola at 6am to go bang my gf at loyola. A handful of times I stopped at my old HS before classes started and shot the shite with a few of them. Smoked cigarettes behind the building and we all pretended I wasn't hammered and driving. Good times.

Everyone bitches about Millenials, but this next generation really might be the downfall of the country.

Gen X started it, they're the ones running school boards and governments right now. Gen Y is moving it along, but this next generation is fricking retarded. They have been living without a war, with the absolute best quality of life, never known a world without internet, phones or cable, and are on the verge of automation killing menial jobs, education is in the toilet, social media has warped their minds and it's only getting worse. They don't understand hardship and they don't understand consequences. And thanks to the hard work of their parents and grandparents and the bloated government many of them have been gifted everything in life. So their minds can't understand real issues.

It's like Smith's speech in the matrix. When the world is perfect, a human's mind can't handle it. We crave chaos. When we don't get it, we create it.

Who would actually be offended by that comment?

Think for a second about what kind of person is always on the lookout to be offended and you'll have your answer. Shame there isn't a father figure in the house to explain to mama and the welp that it's a joke.

frick that. frick that line of thinking.

She's a public school teacher actually trying to relate to the students in order to teach them and she gets fired but I can't imagine how many stupid bitch teachers are still employed there that are miserably failing those students.
