We had a hail storm about five years ago in north east DFW that damaged 50,000 homes.

Mine went up about $175 a month, then my taxes went up so my Escrow jumped nearly $400.00 while my paycheck went up about $35.00

My local State Farm in South Carolina demanded I insure my automobile AND condo just to get a quote. I told them to GF themselves.

I've been with the Farm since 1985......they were great to deal with after Katrina and Gustav. My rates are very competitive with any of the others, as I have shopped around.

I'm sticking with State Farm.

You get what you pay for. Wait until you make a claim. They are both shitty.

"Yeah, that's my problem with insurance companies. I have to pay for everyone else's problems."
________________________________________________

That's the whole purpose of insurance and they will help pay for your problems if you have a claim. If you don't think this is fair, then drop your insurance and self insure and pay for all of your own damages yourself if you have a loss. See haw that works out for you....

Yes. Have everything with them.

Same price for auto as state farm. Tripled all my coverages and free roadside assistance.

I was shocked

PSA - State Farm will also not cover storm damage when you need them to. They will use anything and everything to not cover anything.

Shady shady company.

Good, my State Farm agent is an a-hole anyway. Just one more reason to drop him. I hope he goes out of business.
