He didn't have to be a dick about it, but different shafts can make a huge difference in price. I can understand their policy since they have guys working there that have no idea what they're looking at and could cost them some serious money.

Just go to Edwin Watts and tell them you won the club in a tournament and want to exchange. They always let me do that.

Dicks is an awful store, but trying to swap out shafts isn't the same thing as swapping a large for a medium.

I have had the same experience at Target trying to exchange pants for a different size.

Dick's does have good prices on kayaks.
