this, airlines have created the monster that is the entitled, the rules are for everyone but me, rude, inconsiderate modern traveler, I think I'm going to start an airline, Badass Air, that will charge double to triple than all airlines for any city pair, as you're boarding the plane a scantily clad OT 9.9 will hit you across the head and shoulders with a piece of rubber hose and point you to your seat where you will be instructed to sit down, shut up, and keep your feet off of the walls, lavs will be pay toilets, if you can't abide by my rules, charter a fricking jet!

Yep. Airlines need to nix the checked luggage fee and encourage people to check their bags. That way, the only people carrying on are business travelers with somewhere to be once they land.
I'd even be cool with them reversing it and making carry-on rolling bags have a fee. The business travelers will pay it because company pays for it, and the families would get all of their kids' shite checked.

Many times with the SO comes back from business trip its stories about how people are ridiculous about storing their shite on the plane.
