Idiot has a negligent discharge right into his own foot about five feet away from a line of police officers.
Video is at Twitter link. I don't know how to make a .gif but it is worthy.

More ammo, no pun intended, for gun control

Well yea! Non stupid firearm owners wouldn’t do this.

If the weapon had been 180 degrees that scum would have done something useful. Specifically, shot itself in the head.

I've had that happen before.
It was pretty embarrassing.
She said it was ok tho.

Exactly why Democrats should never own a firearm.

I was in a place called Carter's Country in Houston. Big time gun store. I was asking one of the salesmen about their safety rules for customers who bring weapons in for trade in or to sell. He points to a gouge in the floor and tells me a customer was showing him a pistol and had an accidental discharge. There was also a hole in the ceiling where the ricochet hit. I said something to the effect that you never know what inexperienced moron was going to walk through the door. He looks at me and says, "It was a Houston cop." He said the guy was not only embarrassed as hell, but that there was a police department policy on mandatory reporting of any accidental discharge. He said that cop was sweating bullets (no pun intended) but knew with a store full of witnesses there was no getting out of the reporting. I'm sure his precinct nickname is Quick Draw or something now....hahaha

I've started interpreting 2020 through the lens of Darwinism, and suddenly the world makes a lot more sense.

Nature vs nurture
Nature always wins

I was at a gun show in Tulsa, OK when a moron walking the show had a loaded pistol in the waistband of his shorts. He was two aisles over and apparently tried to adjust the pistol and shot a round off between his feet into the concrete floor. The round fragmented and hit two people nearby in the legs. Dude stood there for maybe two seconds with all of us looking at him and took off like an Olympic sprinter for the nearest exit. Police responding ran right by him while we were all yelling and pointing at the guy. He got away. Although there were literally tens of thousands of guns around, I never expected to have one go off a few yards away at a gun show.
