Wanted to remember and commend our local law enforcement for handling the protests in BR. They are an example that all other agencies should follow. They never once allowed those savages take over the city like they have done in most other cities. They did not take an ounce of BS from any of them. They arrested them with quickness as they should. To watch onTV how much abuse they are taking from the
rioters in NC is a shame an embarrassment to those other city leaders.

Let's remember it was hot as hell that week. Glad it didn't happen later in the year.

On behalf of those of us who got window tint and inspection sticker tickets this morning at the checkpoint in mid city, we strongly disagree.

I'm shooting the bird at every blacked out BRPD unit I see

Laws based on civil "wrongdoing" shouldn't exist for the primary purpose of raising revenue.

Unless you can articulate to me why it's necessary for police and members of the legislature to exempt from window tint laws on their personal vehicles, I will continue to believe they are both a bunch of fricking morons.

What makes this thread interesting is your praise of local police on how they handled the protest. A protest that never would have happened in the first place had they not fricking shot and killed someone. Way to go BRPD. You guys rock

There is good reason to limit tint of vehicle windows...I assume that is what you are referring to.

If it is, irrespective of law/legislators being exempt, then you can just give it your best shot to figure it out yourself.

Here's one from me though. Two things learned to do when I was taught to drive around 11 (with a manual), was to always observe closely when approaching an intersection with opposing vehicles. (1) Is the driver stopped/approaching the intersection paying attention (2) Watch the vehicles wheels for initiation of motion.

Can you determine which of the two items listed inhibits my ability due to said vehicle's over-tinted windows?

Law breakers always want to place the blame on others for their screwups!
