Sometimes there is an American flag to make you think the products were made here and not by Chang’s daughter in a far away shop.

Noticed on Allen Edmonds’ website they have a shoe labeled as ‘Designed in the USA’ but no word about where it is made.

Designers make more than the people manufacturing. I'm good with that.

American Way baw. US has the innovation, and brains. Jobs here creating new products. US supported probably means US english speaking support. Just mfg'd overseas. No problem with this as long as Unions keep fricking the US factory worker over.

Key thing is making sure we arent giving all the IP over to them overseas. China can go frick itself until they stop with stealing it by forcing our companies to give it to them.

place i worked before proudly puts "assembled in the USA" inside an american flag on their product.
The main component of the machine is made in China, the motor comes from France or Germany, most of the valves come from Italy and the other 2 large components on it come from india.
But yeah they ship all those parts over to the good ole USA and put it together so they can say it was "assembled in the USA". People that don't know how to use their brain think they are the only company in that industry that is an american company, even though their machine is manufactured in china just like everyone elses, and their headquarters is in Europe, just like everyone else in that business, but people assume they are an american company b/c they go to great lengths to make it appear that way.

If it's made in China, it will always say made in China somewhere.

as long as other people think I'm buying American products then I'm ok with it. Letting other people know I buy American is what it's all about, nomsayin? Throw in "Veteran designed and supported" and I'll buy two.

If they make it then they have the resources to reverse engineer it. Just a matter of time until they start to dominate with Chinese designed products.

Look at the angst and price disruption being caused by Huawei.
