Thanks Mizou...I wish now we'd kick them out of the SEC.
Their sports programs will turn to dogshit because of the concerned student business. Not talented athlete will touch that school now. Vanderbilt and Kentucky have something to be happy about tho.
Princeton should let them sit in the president's office as long as they want. Then when they fail all of their classes, Princeton can kick them out for a reason that can't be racially spun.

The problem is, an overly large number of university faculty and administration members around the country (if experience over the last 40 years is to be believed) AGREE with them, and all their socialist, America-hating causes.

I find it interesting when folks living today try to put past figures "on trial" for the views and actions that they had back in their time. It is a very tricky thing to judge people from the past by the standards of today. Segregation was not only legal back then but widely accepted and practiced. And you can imagine, if the lens were reversed, how folks from that time would view us today. They would likely see us as being degenerate to the point of near barbarism for our acceptance of; same-sex marriage, abortion on demand, inter-racial marriage, pre-marital sex etc. So, I think that we should let the past be the past and just look to making a positive future in whatever way we can as it regards our personal sense of what a positive future is.
Pretty much agree with this. Should women insist that George Washington (and other's) be taken to task for not allowing women to vote? See how crazy this can get.

But I'm sure someone would complain about that and find the one racist person that worked for Disney 50+ years ago.

Is it true that the rowing team is threatening to not row until the protesters' demands are met?

They are pushing too hard and are losing a lot of sympathy for the cause.

These threads are always the same and always give me the same amount of hilarity.

As an academic, you're exactly right.
It's disheartening. There's good intellectual work to be done, and yet people are putting their mental faculty towards this and that. Whatever this and that is. I don't get it. I can't even wrap my head around it honestly. Maybe I'm not as smart as my academic colleagues who champion the #BLM movement, or maybe I'm too smart for it.

Step 1: Call cops.
Step 2: Expel students.
Why is this shite so hard?
Because that's not how universities are responding.
Step 1: Listen to the demands.
Step 2: Consult scholarship that has cultivated this kind of thinking.
Step 3: Sacrifice a few white males.
Step 4: Go on business as usual.

Missouri really fricked up by giving in to these race baiters.
Set a terrible precedent for the rest of the universities
No doubt Princeton was just waiting for Mizzou to show them the way.
