Slightly raising pricing to account for demand is different from gouging people on necessary items in a time of emergency.

The supply and demand curve is the supply and demand curve.

Kind of like how voter fraud isn’t a cornerstone of democracy, yet that doesn’t stop you from committing voter fraud to vote against st George.

You dumb.

If that’s the case why does hotel rooms often post maximum room rates? If over this call 800 blah blah

Taking advantage of a consumers for financial gain during a crisis is price gouging and you should be beaten with a large leather strap if caught doing this.

Tell me.... when no one can buy a good at x price yet the seller has a large amount of that good, what does the seller do?

Lowers the price.

Weird how that works eh?

The fact that a straight up economic fact is getting downvoted tells me all I need to know about how emotional you twats are

It shouldn't be considered voter fraud if the vote was to better the community. Sometimes you have to let people intervene, as the public doesn't always know what is best for them

I think “price gouging” is stupid and those who do it are idiots.however, It absolutely follows the basic tenets of capitalism and the supply and demand curve and should not be illegal.

It’s a horrible business move to pull off and will completely destroy your reputation amongst the community and will end up costing you wayyyyy more than you make in the short term.

It’s a dumb move. Those that do it are idiots. So are those who prattle on about how it should be illegal and isn’t “capitalism”

If I vote in an election I have no part voting in because I do not live within the boundaries of that election, that is voter fraud.

With your logic, we should be able to vote in other countries elections because “we know how to better their community for them”

Which is why capitalism should be regulated. Glad we're on the same page.
