Sounds exactly like an Iridium flare.

sounds like satellites...
When they pass into the earth's shadow, they go dark.

Satellites.

I see them all the time up here in the PNW. Heck, when I'm out at Yakima Training Center, you can see dozens of them.

I actually saw the ISS about a month ago. Was pretty damned cool. Saw it at 10:10pm one night, the following night, the same time but a little to the west in its trajectory.

Don't let the haters make you doubt what you saw.

Ancient Aliens is my favorite show - I'd love to see a real UFO.

Answer this question: You really don't believe that there are aliens who travel in space, or humanoid life on other planets?

I did see something about a month ago that was pretty wild.

Two satellites or whatever. One going North to South, the other West to East. As soon as both objects were about to intersect perfectly, the West/East object did a U-shaped turn to the South to avoid the collision and kept on tracking to the East. Craziest thing I've seen in awhile.

Makes me wonder what type of anti-collision avoidance systems are on these things considering they're so many of them up there in orbit.

I drew a sketch of what I saw. Can't get on photobucket due to work, but I'll try to upload it when I get home. This is around the same timeframe I saw the ISS.
