Ive seen that a few times in this thread.
Its been on the uptick for awhile, but it's really no big deal, as OP was pointing out.
Covid isn't the boogeyman anymore, and as someone else said a few weeks ago, if you have it and are scheduled for surgery, they still do the procedure.
Lots of angst in this thread...

Yes, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made statements indicating he would not take a flu shot. In a post on X from December 29, 2024, he is quoted as saying, “In a million years, I would not take the flu shot and I'll tell you why,” citing a claim that the flu shot “primes you for flu and it primes you for Coronavirus.”

My wife's boyfriend made our son stay home from school for 3 days he also took a week away from seeing my wife.
I had to read this a few times to make sure I was reading it right. What the cuck is going on here?

RFK not taking the flu shot is fine; it is his choice.
The reasons he cited is why I think he's a loon tune.

Just getting over it. Took care of a patient that I suspected had it, did indeed, and I got sick a few days later with what felt like a run of the mill cold with congestion, sneezy, generallly feeling under the weather. Tested at home to confirm. Scoffed at it and went about my business then late friday night I had an acute onset make you wanna die Gi situation that lasted 24 hours and I still have some residual not feeling quiet right situation from it, but this was the worst GI situation I've ever had full stop.

4 of my coworkers are out with it. I woke up with congestion this morning, but no aches or pains.

Is this a joke attempt or did you just make this up?

One of my coworkers called it that and I dropped it in the title to agitate the board.
I don't usually post rage bait but I was bored and we haven't had a good COVID based hate fest in a while.
In all seriousness, the good news is that when it passes it is gone apparently. I had a light work out late yesterday and went for a run this morning and was fine. When I had the real deal COVID it dragged me down for a while after I was over the initial infection. This thing doesn't have any of those lingering chraracteristics.
