It rained like hell here for 20-30 minutes, wind blew a bit but nothing crazy, winding down now. Think we are mostly done

About the power going out in Central, power was out in Prairieville at 9:15 a.m. and didn’t come back til about 4 hours later. And there was a traffic light out at Airline and Old Hammond during that time. Wind gusted at times then but no rain or thunder. Sometimes, shite just happens.

Haven't been watching closely today. Checked radar scope a couple of times and saw some warnings but has today been a bust through central MS as far as the language we were seeing previously (regional outbreak EF3+)? Seemed like things were fairly linear the few times I checked

Seems like it’s easing up
Hopefully it will be back before it gets too warm

Got some strong rain from the west for about 15 good minutes in BR and now...pretty clear? Was that it?

Winds were much stronger before the rains came. Picked up almost half inch of rain.

To be fair, they really let that one go on too long.

This little cell south of Gulfport is far enough away from most of the prior convection that it may be worth watching as it moves into more favorable conditions.

Tornado flag now on RadarScope, and it just got severe warned.

While it’s not over, were there any confirmed tornado warnings in LA today?
