Pre-Dawn Raid Results in Mobile Police Shooting Armed 16 year old

No issue here for normal thinking people
You're right.
Plenty of issues for the more intelligent though.
Clueless

No you don't.
Okay, so please correct me. I want to understand your thinking here.
1: The police were completely justified conducting a 3am warrant on a house not owned by the person they were looking for. The house also had children in it, potential collateral damage
2. There was no reason to wait for a more opportune time or place to arrest one person who's friend's neighbors complained about the noise and smell.
3. There was no safer option for everyone involved
4. It doesn't matter if the 16 year old may or may not have known it was the police breaking down his door before acting on his constitutional right to defend himself. He deserved to get shot for defending his household.
5. Finding a dimebag of weed makes everything above okay.

If what they were looking for was not in the house, why did a 16 year old kid have to die?
Damn cops shoulda used that darn X-ray machine on the house and this would have never happened.

I am not a big fan of criminals. This kid may or may not have been, but the law of averages is working against him.

If it were a no knock raid, I would support the kid.
But it doesnt sound like it was.

Or just some basic surveillance, apparently.
Maybe, just maybe, if you can't conduct accurate surveillance to determine if your suspect is at a residence then MAYBE you shouldn't be doing these kind of raids?

If you have to have whats in the house, as a reason to go in the house, then you should have never been allowed to break into the house in the first place.

There are thousands of people in Alaska who possess the same items in their home that this kid caught a bullet over. A little bit of weed and a handgun. Hell there is a pretty damn good chance you do.
So how do you sit there and say he deserved it?

Most dont shoot cops if they come in their house, announced.
Youre confusing issues.

The issue is cops shouldnt be doing predawn raids on residential homes.
True. They should wait til dawn when their high has worn off.

If you point weed at a Cop, chances are you don't get shot.
If you point a gun at a Cop, chances are you DO get shot.

Night time raids are more dangerous. Raiding for drugs isnt a priority.
Night time, no knock raids are only acceptable for pursuing murder suspects.

Not how you win. Stay on topic don't make it political.

Right. People are too stupid to separate the issues.

How do you say he deserved it.
