How fricking dense are you? They killed an armed person pointing a loaded weapon at them.
... when they were breaking into his house at 3am, looking for someone other than him...
quote:
In your "get rid of cops" world, do you believe that if someone is pointing a weapon at a cop, that the cop must wait until he has a warrant against THAT person to defend himself? Really?
Ad Hominem attack, I have never once in my life been for "getting rid of cops" only that they should be held responsible for dangerous policies that go against the constitution.
quote:
Dude get some better stuff. That cheap shite you are smoking is rotting your brain.
Ad Hominem, I've never smoked in my life. It can get you shot by cops apparently.

But somehow you think in the middle of the night with several kids in the house is the best option?
THESE responses are exactly why we can't have a productive conversation. NOWHERE in my question did I say I thought the raid was a good idea. In fact, I think it was a terrible idea. I was just wondering what options others saw.
But the whole policing in America thing has devolved so badly that there are now just two sides:
A. Cops are heroes. Don't ask questions.
B. You are a fricking BOOTLICKER!!!! for ever supporting anything the police do.
Please go back to my post and show me where I said it was a good idea. And there were four responses to my post all accusing me of thinking the raid was the way to go. You weren't the only one.
Can we have a fricking conversation on this conversation board or do we all just need to be chimpanzees flinging poo?

Does that really matter? Sounds like a justification attempt to me.
Yep, it matters. If he is walking crime wave, better to be shed of him early so he has fewer chances to cause harm.

the Police in this case.

Now, people won’t be dealing at that house anymore.
Never once considered having cops kill my neighbors.

You asked a question and multiple people answered with alternatives that could've been utilized instead of this raid.
Is there a reason you're not responding to any of those? You asked the question?

Y'all are just arguing in circles now.

16 years old isn't young at all for gang bangers. That is prime animalistic violence age these days.

And again, there it is.
Loving some Constitution and Bill of Rights, but only when it applies to themselves.

No, it doesn't.

They simply can't see beyond this point.
Except for the one guy who's at least honest about being an a-hole who's glad a 16 year old died.

how about you just tell us the number that was taken off the streets to make it a wash on the 16yo's life?
Depends on the 16yr old. Some you move mountains to protect, some aren't worth the powder it would take to blow their head off.

Dont address the bleeding hearts. the kid pulled a gun on cops. Justified.
The issue is cops shouldnt be doing predawn raids on residential homes.
