Checking back in. My wife is in the ground now and today went just fine. I woke up this morning with a calmness within me. Never broke down. I know she was at peace and I was given the absolute strength to deal with today. The love in that room was amazing. Thanks for everyone here. Now I have my battle to fight. I will be around for awhile. The good Lord don’t want me yet and the devil is scared I will take over

i'm so sorry to hear about your loss and about your diagnosis... there really isn't anything anyone here can say that will really make any sort of big impact or give you much comfort, but i hope for nothing but good things for the time you do have left
