I live in Youngsville as its pretty bad , KATC reported up to 10" in a 2 hour period

All roads in/out are underwater with portions of Bonin, Fortune, Chemin Metairie, Verot School Rd, and Milton Hwy not passable

I tried to get out 3 times for work and had to turnaround and come home

As far as historicalistically speaking, I remember the water being high in BR in '89. Or did you mean "hysterical" flooding?

All recent flooding is measured to the 1983 event... for the Amite(41.5' @ denham springs) and Comite(29.7' @ joor rd.) 1983 was the highest ever recorded...
There is a very good chance we will beat those numbers in a few days
