Headed back to Houston from Fourchon last night.
There were two troopers stopped near the line on the shoulder, but they’re not doing anything.

There are state troopers at most entry points into the state. I just passed five at the state line on 79 coming down from I-20. I was given no trouble but I have Texas tags.

This trooper stopped me and tried to keep me from passing through, but I continued on anyway. Then he started yelling at me, but I kept going. I think he was drunk or something.

Went Tuesday Night From Alabama to Conroe Tx. Passed a Walker LA cop is all until I hit Texas. 5 cops in about 3 miles.

just received email from John Bel's office that Abbott texted him saying they will close TX-LA border this evening. No further details yet about who gets through and who doesn't. They will no longer allow LA peeps to enter state and 14-day quarantine.

the gist of the email was that Abbott is stopping all "non-essential" traffic at the border. no other details yet on what that means.
