or just any chair you use often outdoors...

I bought a $25 one at Sam’s this weekend and it’s fine. Couldn’t bring myself to spend $80 on a rocking chair.
George Jones would be ashamed of us for those chairs.

I mean your mom makes for a pretty good one... built for comfort, wide base, heavy-duty frame, and plenty of seating capacity. Not exactly portable, but everybody swears by her. I like it alot but the problem is it always seems to be occupied.

I only sit in Filson chairs when camping. On a plywood platform of course so the feet don't get dirty.

I have one of these, it's surprisingly comfortable

Was gifted a gci rocker and I love it. We bought the cheaper Magellan brand ones that travel with our trade show gear and they're just as comfortable but a little more difficult to haul around without a carry handle.

I got a similar one at Buccee’s in Lockhart in 2012 and that thing lasted me through ten years of tailgates and camping trips

GCI rocker
I have this folding umbrella type. Most see are the ones that just fold in half. Although it’s a little more difficult to unfold. I like the compactness of the umbrella style.
