I found this Himalayan nearly dead outside of my office in Palo Alto last year. The vet guessed she was about 5 weeks old at the time. She weighed less than 1 lb, and it was touch and go for a while, but she made it.

She has limited vision, but she gets around OK. She is deaf in one ear, so she never seems to know where a noise is coming from. She has issues with her vocal box. She can't purr worth a shite, and she can barely make any noise when she tries to meow.

That fur makes her ridiculously soft. As you can see, she has tons of hair on her feet which makes it impossible for her to jump off of a glass table or slick surface.
