My brother was stationed there. I was a kid and thought the coolest thing in the world was when the pilots would talk to me.
I was there when there was the cuban uprising in Oakdale. I watched them unload them from the bus and put them on a plane at England. Guards were walking them single file. They used to gave an air show out there as well.

A-10 Cuba taught me how to fly as a kid. Nowadays the flight sims are so realistic most kids don’t care to ride in a plane because it’s not as realistic as the game.

Our friend said they looked like normal bros and were genuinely surprised about the whole thing. Had "WTF?" faces on the whole time.
