Oh I actually enjoy them. But I know there is always that person that comes in and complains about having to sift through everything lol

Impossible, i just saw him at the Tiger Truck Stop loading up on Slimjims.. Was complaining a lot about the new LSU football locker room facilities, but other than that seemed like a pretty nice guy.

Barry had the same percentage of forming five days out as well

They should just stop with the "percentage of development" thing. Seems like with every storm there is a 2% chance of development a week out and by the time you turn around, it's up to an 85% chance of a Category whatever storm. STFU with the percentages.

Even if something does form, it'll get pushed off to the NE. For us, it would probably help pull more of that cold front air down this way. It'll also be sheary for the system, so it's not likely to amount to anything on the off chance it does form up.

Not much time or strength being shown in the model ensembles for now:

06z GFS Ensembles @ 7PM Wednesday

The darker the shade of blue, the lower the pressure is based on normal pressure for this time of year. The little blob along the panhandle is where the Euro ensembles see a possible low forming.

By Friday at 1AM, the anomaly is gone:

00z Euro Ensembles are similar. At 7PM Wednesday:

It's also mostly gone 24 hours later and completely gone Friday at 7PM:

Well the horizon only goes 5 days out. If a storm has a great chance of developing 6 days out, it's not going to show up in the percentages until the next day.

Never really feels the cool down from the front because the gulf water will moderate the temperature. Should stay well below 90. Highs mid 80s, lows high 70s-low 80s. Scattered storms everyday.

Pretty damn good for late July.
