Everyone in BR should go protest in front of that judge’s office until he’s removed. Save your city.

I actually hope that Jeff Landry uses this to catapult sending a large national guard presence into areas of Baton Rouge frequented by law-abiding area residents, children, and just generally good people. If that turns out to be obviously white areas, then so be it. I want a permanent law enforcement presence in the areas where good people congregate around Baton Rouge, and I want the public to demand it stays permanent. We have to do something about the ghetto trash gang problem in this area.

Yeah I’m not buying the 2 “groups with a beef” story. All these people shooting at each other and not one got injured. Then 2 cops immediately on the scene and they didn’t arrest or shoot at anyone in these “groups”
Also how many different caliber bullets found from all these guns used?

You realize this entire shooting from start to finish probably lasted 5-7 seconds then they fled. They blended in with the crowd and got away before responding officers even arrived.

Just drove by. There were like 5 cars scattered in the parking lot on the side by Main Event. Very sad.

Nope. They said one cop was in the mall patrolling and an EBR cop was in the parking lot when shooting started. Stop making excuses.

Bro thinks that this shootout lasted hours and that the cops didn't do anything.

They have 5-6 people in custody. The assholes that did this harmed / killed at least 6 people.

And the cops arrested people. What did you want them to do? Just roll into the mall and start shooting?

That's how innocent people get injured or killed. The perpetrators did enough of that.

I'm referring to the cops responding from elsewhere.

Besides, the mall is a huge building. Most cops can't run from one side of the food court to the other side of the food court in 5 seconds, much less get there from the parking lot or wherever else the inside cop was in time to stop this from occurring.

Quit being so dense. This shooting occurred and was over with in a few seconds. There was no option to stop this from occurring, except for the possibility of noticing this trash ahead of time and asking them to leave. But that's assuming they would've been doing something ahead of time that was illegal and would've been cause to tell them to leave.

Not everything is a conspiracy, and the idea of two gangs shooting at each other inside the Mall of Louisiana, which is in a location where gang territories meet, is 100% plausible.

Nope. They haven’t arrested anyone related to this shooting. The people they mentioned were detained for questioning. Not arrested.

"Police said the gunfire was the result of a confrontation between two groups and not a random shooting. Within hours, authorities announced five suspects were in custody, including one arrested in Livingston Parish."

Stop being intentionally obtuse.

What is it that you think happened here?

Probably used an Auntie address. My kid graduated from LO, and there were students there that lived out of parish as well as district.

Same thing goes on at Dutchtown HS. Lots of Gonzales and Baton Rouge kids sneaking in there. The demographics of the school do not match those of the district.

Link that. I'm not saying you're full of shite, I just haven't heard that. I know the kid from Livingston was arrested on other charges and being held until they can tie him to this shooting but I haven't heard that about the others.

There are defining moments in time, where a spark helps unite people to finally fight back. And what I mean by that is use your voice to hold those accountable. This "judge", and I use that term lightly, needs to at least come out with an explanation at the very least.

People need to keep pressure on him until he does. That's not harassment, like someone was saying earlier, this is accountability.

These judges are not immune to having to answer to the people.

That brings to mind the pictures of parking lots around Manhattan after 9/11 where some cars were left there for weeks.

Nobody knows for sure, but they suspect he had something to do with it. I'd bet they're doing forensics on those shell casings to try to match to the gun they found on him. Probably not going to be difficult to determine if he's in the group on the surveillance camera footage.
