Great job!!
I attended the Portland State School of Social Work, and I really hated it. I was a middle aged strait male (and still am), and I my opinions didn't matter. I hated that school, but I shut my mouth and got my degree. Now I'm working at a prison providing services to inmates. My work environment is much more comfortable for me than being in that school, and a whole lot less confusing!!

He’s a former professor. He was also part of the group of academics that published those fake papers in the sociology journals: Fat bodybuilding, rape couture in dog parks, and a paper about straight men becoming less homophobic by forcing them to be penetrated. They wrote like 20 papers as complete jokes and 3 were peer reviewed and published. His videos on college campuses are terrifying. Watch the one at Colorado St about abolishing the campus police using the same thought experiment game he’s using in the full video at Portland St.

The most amazing mistake universities made decades ago was allowing gender studies programs to exist without requiring students to take several years of biology. Hell, just a semester of an animal behavior course would be illuminating to most of those types of students.
The professors from those programs are every bit as antiscientific as people teaching creationism or intelligent design instead of evolution.

Ok maybe there is more than just what this 20 minute video showed bc in this clip he never even got to the thought experiment. He just got sidetracked by these wackos. Unless that was his point, just to showcase their lunacy. But he never really challenged them hard in this video. Kind of just let them talk.

Peter Boghossian is one of the three people responsible for the "Grievance Studies" papers which were studies intended to demonstrate how academics in the social sciences will accept any bullshite premise as long as it uses the accepted buzzwords. Some of the papers were even published and won awards.

He has two students playing the game before the nut jobs come down and interrupt. And that’s exactly his point.
At Co St there is a black girl on the “strongly agree” line (should campus police be abolished). He asks her, if he had data that showed unequivocally that the campus police did not do the thing she was claiming they do, would she just move from strongly agree to the agree line. She said no. The thought experiment is basically just trying to see what discussion or evidence is needed to move people closer to the center of supposed controversial subjects. At CSU the black girl proved that there is no amount of objective fact that can change her opinion and that she doesn’t belong in any sort of higher learning environment.

That’s why I said, unless his point was to showcase their lunacy. But we already know they’re lunatics. I wanted to see the actual thought experiment with the markings on the ground. And if the thought experiment was to be interrupted by lunatic progs, then ok, mission accomplished. Just not illuminating in any way.
