I think it's like anything else, to be used in moderation according to the circumstances. If it gets you through a rough patch or keeps things balanced if one's drive is higher than their partner that's not a bad thing.
But if you're consistently preferring it to actual sex with your SO or rarely having sex with your SO there's a problem that must be addressed. IMO "rarely" meaning less than once a month although personally once a week is the least I can go without getting pent-up and fixated. If I go longer than that there's no amount or type of porn that can fulfill the need.
For single guys, it's a harder measure but porn will certainly diminish your A game.

Bull shite. Pornography is not dangerous and it doesn't ruin marriages. People who have problems manifest those problems in whatever ways they decide to. Some choose pornography, others choose other avenues. The problem is not the way they choose to manifest their issues, the problem is them.

I don't think men need a study to understand how porn can affect a marriage, sex or a relationship.
Imagine the man that views 100's or 1,000's of porn images in a day. All of these women different and sometimes better than their spouses or gf's. Some, doing things that your significant other won't do. Then your partner comes home from work, driving the kids around, cooking, etc and she is tired and you are all jazzed up for sex after looking at porn. And either she gives you sex but isn't realy in to it because she is tired or she turns you down completely.
Now, it doesn't take a study to realize that this will affect the relationship long term.
Besides porn, we simply live in an overly sexualized world and it is having negative effects.

Looking at porn and masturbation has never hurt my libido. I realize I have to lower my expectations in the real world. Not everyone has porn star bodies. My girlfriend probably isn't going to be disrespecting herself like a crack addict who is getting paid money for a porn shoot.
But I know a lot of people who have had their sex lives ruined by porn. Mainly due to unrealistic expectations.
I know a couple who were in their early twenties and he couldn't get it up unless they were watching porn. Then he quit wanting to have sex with her until it was once a month. They got married and it was two months later before they finally consummated the marriage

In all honesty she's probably getting dicked plenty on the side while her husband pays the bills.
I also know another married couple. He's in the oil fields and she has 5 kids by 4 different dads, 1 of them is her current husband's.
