Popeyes tastes a lot better but it's one step above Burger King for customer service.

Their chicken tenders were the best in the business

Popeyes is still my favorite but KFC’s chicken tenders and sauce are both awesome. Way too pricey though.

The only thing CFA has good for is the nuggets when I need protein while traveling. The fries are shite, and the chicken is otherwise non descript. Great service, yes.

CFA was the first outside vendor that opened in LA Tech's student union when I was there decades ago. I had a choice between school cooked food court items, and CFA. I think I ate at CFA twice.

CFA is like the Taylor Swift, mostly driven by marketing, and not quality.

The secret to Popeyes is to get there right when they open at 1030. Usually good service and hot chicken.

I was actually wanting some KFC a few weeks ago but ended up not going. I haven't had KFC in years so I'm not sure why I got a random craving

THIS 100%

I am in charge of providing the chicken for Mardi Gras Day to the apt we rent on St Charles Ave during the 2 weeks of MG.

For the past 4 years,(minus COVID) I call on Monday afternoon(Lundi Gras) before the manager gets off to the location on Claiborne/Napoleon bc I know they are getting ready for the REX and ZULU crowds.....

I order 200 pieces plus fixing and sides to be picked up for 10 am......they are so nice and always has the chicken hot, fresh and ready to go. I 've even had to wait a few times for them to get the freshly fried chicken out the fryers.

They havent let me down in 4 years

Once I deliver it to the apt that chicken is a savior for several families for the rest of the day......

Popeyes isnt the best IMO, but for Mardi Gras Day they have been clutch for me

hot chicken.

Huge turnoff if it’s too hot to handle with your hands.

Cold chicken isn’t good either but there’s a good somewhere in the middle temperature for eating fried chicken.

who the hell still eats at kfc?

About 100 million people in Asia and other foreign places.

KFC is extremely popular overseas. Out of all of our exported fast food options, I'm not sure why that's the one that took off but it did.

And I know this thread is about the US market but at this point KFC probably doesn't care. And it's the same reason the Hollywood studios don't care when US audiences complain about their over-produced CGI comic book re-treads.
