It’s been colder here a couple times. I just ran the pool 24/7. That is a lot of water running through those pipes. It would be tough for anything to freeze at that speed of flow. Your pool water temp will probably get to 50 maybe in the 40’s?

Buy about 600 boxes of matches. Light a match, then throw it in the water. Repeat until the deep freeze threat passes.

I ran pumps 24/7 several years ago when it was really cold and had no issues
