My dad used to always tell me.. There are two things you never discuss in public "politics and religion". In fact, he was making it awkward for everyone. But people need to realize it is okay for people to have different views than you have and you are not going to convince people to share your views by going on and on about them..

I told this story on here a few times but I used to work with this dude who used to go to his truck and listen to Rush on his lunch break.
And at some point, if you talk to him multiple times a day he would say "it reminds me of what Rush said the other day....."
He really did use to hang on every word Rush said and that shite was annoying AF.
