Sex offenders already have to be registered and notify the entire neighborhood when they move in. So a similar, but not exact precedent has already been set.
This will never pass, though, because of the number of profound drunks in any state legislature.
I would support it. We are talking about two-time offenders here, who obviously have trouble learning, on top of being a public hazard.
I don't drink, but I say drink all you want. To your heart's content, really. But DUI? Come on, man. You deserve what you get. I might even have a little sympathy for someone who made a mistake the first time. We're all human, right? But twice? frick you, man. Here's your license plate. Enjoy it.

All it would do is cause cops to stop someone with that license plate every time they are seen driving after 8pm.

And I suppose Mr. Chism has never once driven while intoxicated. Not once. bullshite. All the more reason I can't wait for self driving cars to become commonplace.
