Does this guy have a case?
quote:
I am a law abiding American citizen who lives in Cleburn county Arkansas. On the night of 11/16/2015 two men tresspassed on my property to repo my truck witch is in the middle of a civil dispute. I made them leave they came back later with a cleburn county deputy who forced me to give my truck to them or be arrested . This has violated my 5th and 14th amendment rights to Due Process. The officer had no warrrant and no right to become a repo man. Thier were also things on and in the truck I purchased he would not allow me to keep. I need the funds for lawyer fees so I can file a law suit and be properly represented in court. Far to often the police make thier own laws and this must stop.

All of a sudden this semi-literate Cleburn County resident is a constitutional scholar and an expert on the UCC.
I loves me the intersection of bad decision-making, the internet and rural meriker.
Dam wright.

If the repo paperwork appears legit, then police can facilitate the repo, I believe. Thing is, if the case is contested somehow, the guy should have some sort of court document suspending repo actions or whatever - I would assume.

Im not sure about other states but here law enforcement does not get involved in civil disputes unless there is a court order.

Law enforcement doesn't generally get involved in civil disputes but they will however accompany or stand by as a peace keeper if somone requests it and has the proper legal paper work.

By civil dispute, he just meant that he was disputing the lien holder's ability to take his car for non payment.
Not that a judge signed off on him having something of merit and a decision was pending.
