CORRECTION: 4 children, 2 adults shot dead in Houston suburb; SWAT standoff underway with shooter: LINK
Five people died at the scene while a sixth, a child, died at a hospital. The lone survivor was the child's mother, KTRK reported. The woman called 911 after being shot in the head and warned cops the armed man was headed to a restaurant to kill another family member at work, the ABC affiliate reported.
Three children live in the home where the shooting took place, a neighbor told the news station.
